The American Movement, a non-party coalition based on truth, justice, morality and prosperity of the nation. Embellishing the wisdom, integrity, and intent of our nation's for-fathers. A belief we are Americans before all else.

The American Movement is a call for simpler government not based on a two-party political agenda. On the will of the people as a whole, by majority, as a true democratic process. Not a representative republic, influenced by special interest, or desire to achieve political office for personal gain.

The American Movement believes political office should be a duty and honor to our country, not a privilege. The obtaining of any political office shall not be achieved by birthright, money or influence other than by the will of the people. The race for political office shall be open to any qualifying individual (as specified in the Constitution of the United States of America). Not based on party representation or financial ability.

The American Movement as individuals will take moral and ethical responsibility for our actions and not let the political body be our conscience.

Precepts...

Elected Office - obtainable by ANY individual regardless of race, gender, political ideology or financial wherewithal. Limited terms to discourage career politicians and upon leaving office all benefits and perks not related to retirement be ended. ALL elected officials are subject to current law and not exempt from prosecution while in office.

Taxes - a fair and simple individual tax code, implemented, governed and enforced by one agency. The agency MUST be responsible for explanation of the tax code to the individual, and be liable for any penalties incurred to the individual by giving incorrect, false or misleading information.

Social Security - the money collected to be a separate fund and not to be used for any other program than social security. To be a private or government agency responsible to congress but not administered or controlled by congress.

I Need Your help!

If you are like me and upset with the decline of Washington please help me create a movement to establish a working system of goverment.

I am an American who holds no political ties. All I want is a chance to vote for moral and ethical beliefs, not any one particular party line.

I ask all like minded individuals to help me create this movement for the benifit of our country, ourselves, and our children.

Let us lay a foundation for the future and let this be our legacy to the future...
